SAC Modular Expander Mandrel

The Short Action Customs Expander Mandrel Kit serves as a versatile bridge between carbide standard and decapping expanding mandrels, offering convertibility between the two. Each kit includes a Thread Protector and five distinct Pins, enabling compatibility with all Short Action Customs Modular Sizing Dies. The kit provides flexibility, allowing users to choose between a decapping mandrel and a standard non-decapping mandrel. Decapping pins are replaceable and can be purchased separately. The mandrels are crafted from nitrided 17-4 H1150 Steel, while the pins are made of 11-44 stress-proofed steel. Note that these items are not finished and may rust over time, with no warranty coverage for rust or breakage. Assembly and usage guidance is provided for specific calibers. The kit contains a Modular Expander Mandrel, Thread Protector, Pins 1-5, a 3/16 C-Clip, four .025 Shims, ER11 Collet Compatibility, and a Pin Fitment Guide. All mandrels utilize a 7mm ER11 Collet, which is not included. The Pin Fitment Guide details compatible calibers for each pin, with shims required for certain calibers.
